This Privacy Policy explains how Dafeli handles information when you scan, review, organize, and export room projects. The app is designed to perform its core work on your device without an account, analytics, advertising, or cloud storage.
Information Used for Room Capture
When you start a scan, the app uses the camera, motion sensors, and LiDAR capabilities made available by your device through Apple's RoomPlan framework. This processing may produce room geometry, measurements, detected surfaces, doors, windows, and object categories. The app uses this information only to create and display the room project you requested.
Project Information You Create
Your saved projects may include room names, notes, measurements, floor-plan data, 3D model data, and exported files. These records are stored in the app's private local container. The app does not require you to provide a name, email address, profile, or account credentials.
How Information Is Used
Local project information is used to provide the app's room scanning, project organization, measurement, visualization, editing, and export features. Dafeli does not use room scans for advertising, profiling, analytics, or model training.
Sharing and External Services
The app does not automatically upload room projects. A file leaves the app only when you deliberately use an export or share action and choose a destination. Apple may process device diagnostics, App Store information, or system-level data under Apple's own terms and settings. If legal page URLs are configured, opening a legal document may make a standard web request to that configured site; room project content is not included in that request.
Retention and Deletion
Projects remain on your device until you delete an individual project, clear the local project library, remove the app, or erase the device. Exported copies are controlled by the destination you selected and must be deleted there separately.
Security
Local records benefit from the protections provided by iOS and the app sandbox. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any exported files.
Your Choices
- You may decline camera access, although live room capture will not work.
- You may delete saved projects or clear all local projects from the app.
- You control whether and where exported files are shared.
Children's Privacy
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account or online service.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, applicable requirements, or our practices change. The revised document will identify its latest update date.
